Bow Street Market – this is a local grocery store around the corner from the hotel. They have great made-to-order sandwiches to take on an excursion, along with anything you might need for your room (like a bottle of wine)!

Family friendly brewery with amazing pizza. Reservations are recommended as it’s very popular.

Mainely Custard – just trust us. This was Kathy’s favorite post-beach treat, and is a Harding family fave.

Royal River Grillhttps://www.royalrivergrillhouse.com/  (in Yarmouth)  – riverside restaurant in Yarmouth with elevated American fare – indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations recommended.

Brunswick, ME is about 20 minutes north and there are loads of restaurants and shops. Great for lunch if you want to walk around the Bowdoin campus, or for dinner.

Portland is a true foodie town and features multiple James Beard nominees and winners. There are excellent restaurants all over the Old Port. Reservations are recommended at dinner time for many of these, but they’re often available at lunch for walk-ins.
