We matched on eHarmony — despite a less-than-stellar 92% compatibility rating and a couple of missed connections early on. It turns out we had quite a bit in common anyway. When we finally met in person, Dan asked Sara if she’d ever traveled outside the United States. Sara, being a devoted Dateline fan, responded with a series of carefully vetted questions to confirm he was not, in fact, a serial killer.
We spent the next month and a half happily brunching our way through Houston, until a thoughtful friend suggested we branch out and invited us to the symphony. One week later came our first real dinner date — and the rest is history.
Since then, we’ve been traveling together, cooking at home, and working our way through the Houston food scene one restaurant at a time. Getting to know each other’s families and friends has been one of the best parts of this whole adventure, and we’re so glad you’re here to celebrate with us!
